Julius has already made a name for himself as a multi-instrumentalist and frontman of the Düsseldorf indie rock band Parakeets. The Covid-19 pandemic forced him to isolate himself from his bandmates in the summer of 2020. The song ‘I Find A Place To Hide’ was written during this time of loneliness and marked the beginning of a promising solo career.

“After we took his unpredictable break with the Parakeets - as being a full band and playing live - I’ve somehow developed a little musical depression. The only way out of that, for me, was to go back into the rehearsal room and bring back Le Fichu. Record a few songs and see where the journey goes. It became my personal Refuge. The only place where I found my creativity again.”
Discography
As Le Fichu, Julius has the freedom to shape his music according to his own feelings. This approach is very different from his work with the band and shows a more experimental side of him. The production is in his hands, he plays in all the instruments himself and mixes the songs himself.
